Pre-fabricated Electrical House with Control Room

We have successfully completed the design, supply, installation, and commission of a prefabricated electrical house for an oil and gas facility. The project included the following components:

  • 11kV AIS MV and 400V LV Switchgear: The switchgear was installed and commissioned to control and protect the electrical power supply to the facility.
  • 1 MVA MV VFD - 1 unit and 400V, 55KW LV VFDs - 6 units: The variable frequency drives (VFDs) were installed and commissioned to control the speed of the electric motors in the facility.
  • 20kVA, 220V, 50hz AC UPS with 575AH Ni-Cd battery bank: The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) was installed and commissioned to provide a backup power supply in case of power outages.
  • 110V, 40A Dual FCBC DC UPS: This DC UPS was installed and commissioned to provide power to critical loads in case of power outages.
  • Distributed control system (DCS), server, and marshalling cabinets with 500 + I/Os: The DCS was installed and commissioned to control and monitor the various processes in the facility, and the server and marshalling cabinets were installed to store and manage the data generated by the DCS.
  • Fire and gas detection system (F&G) for sub-station building and plant area: The F&G system was installed and commissioned to detect and alert of any fire or gas leaks in the facility.
  • HVAC system of capacity 720,000 Btu/Hr: The HVAC system was installed and commissioned to control the temperature and humidity in the facility.
  • Power distribution boards: The power distribution boards were installed and commissioned to distribute the electrical power supply to the various loads in the facility.
  • Normal & emergency lighting distribution boards for building and plant area: The lighting distribution boards were installed and commissioned to distribute the lighting supply to the various areas in the facility.
  • Earthing system: The earthing system was installed and commissioned to provide a safe path for any stray electrical current to the ground.

The project was completed on time and within budget and met all the safety and quality standards. We would like to thank our team and the client for their hard work and cooperation throughout the project.
