This project is a three-year contract for leak testing services at
different brownfield sites. The goal of the project is to ensure that the
upgraded or expanded facilities meet joint integrity requirements without
any leaks before the introduction of hydrocarbons.
The project includes the following scope of work:
Pre-engineering activities: The team will prepare procedures and leak
test packs before starting the testing process. This will involve
reviewing the facility design, determining the required testing
methodology, and creating the necessary testing procedures and
checklists.
System preparation: The team will work to prepare the system by
cleaning, flushing, and verifying that all equipment and components
are ready for testing.
Pressurization of the system: The team will pressurize the system and
perform leak tests using appropriate methods and techniques to detect
and locate any leaks.
Line walk downs and snoop test: The team will perform visual
inspections and use leak detection tools such as snoop tests to verify
the integrity of the entire system.
Safe de-pressurization: Once the testing is complete, the team will
safely de-pressurize the system to ensure that it is safe to work on.
Purging prior to start-up: Finally, the team will purge the system to
remove any remaining fluids or gases before the facility is ready for
start-up.
The project requires a team of experienced technicians and engineers who
can work safely and efficiently to complete the testing within the
specified timeline. The team will work closely with the client to ensure
that all testing requirements are met and that the facility is safe to
operate.
